Minister for Health, Neil Costa and Chief Minister Fabian Picardo yesterday unveiled the plaque for the opening of the new Primary Care Centre conveniently located right next door to St Bernard's Hospital.
This follows the inauguration of the Children’s Health Care centre which was opened on the 17th of July of this year, and is part of the reform of the health services in Gibraltar. Read more

The Deputy Chief Minister Dr Joseph Garcia has launched a booklet entitled “Preparing for a no deal Brexit – Get Ready”.
The booklet will be distributed to thousands of households all over Gibraltar this weekend. It is part of the Government’s communications strategy in respect of a No Deal Brexit which follows the opening of a Brexit Information Office on 1 October.

LATE NEWS: A top UK General, the Commander of the Joint Forces Command which Gibraltar comes under, has made a lightning visit to Gibraltar, inspecting military units.
General Patrick Sanders visited British Forces Gibraltar on Friday in an unannounced visit. He took up the post of Commander Joint Forces Command earlier this year, and this was his first visit to the Rock. Read more

The possibility of a No Deal Brexit remains as one of a number of outcomes.

After participating in politics since 2011, I can honestly say that I am excited about the prospect of being able to introduce an apprenticeship programme which will, for the first time, allow for an well designed pathway for those young people within our community who do not wish to pursue higher education. We need to create a tailor made approach to guiding our young people which takes into account the current skills needs of our community and where we want to take our community in the future. If we are serious as a community about encouraging and persuading big business to come to Gibraltar, we need to demonstrate that our young people possess the skills to fill the jobs that this economic activity will create. David Benady has appealed to PANORAMA for help in promoting a petition about the dangous traffic problem in Cornwall's Lane. Certainly this is a very narrow lane as you enter from Main Street.

With the Spanish government continuing to uphold their claim to Gibraltar's sea sovereignty, saying that the waters of Gibraltar are Spanish as was the case only this week at the UN, there is public concern that the RGP may be undermining the British position in such a sensitive political matter by their Commissioner's pally so-called cooperation with the Spanish police.
