The Government welcomes that Gibraltar’s orderly departure from the European Union has been settled through a Protocol to the Withdrawal Agreement. The Protocol refers to the four Memoranda of Understanding which have been published today. Read more

Today, 3rd December is International Day of Persons with Disabilities (IDPD). This day aims to promote an understanding of disability issues, mobilise support for the dignity, rights and well-being of persons with disabilities. The Government has revealed plans for the next phase in its schools’ development plan.
The Chief Minister, Fabian Picardo, and the Minister for Education, John Cortes, together with the Director of Education Mrs Jacqueline Mason yesterday presented the designs for the new St Martin’s, Governor’s Meadow and Bishop Fitzgerald Schools. Read more

The Government has confirmed that the Chief Minister, Fabian Picardo has written to the Prime Minister, Theresa May, to tell her that the Gibraltar Government has approved the application to Gibraltar of the Protocol in the UK/EU Withdrawal Agreement.
