The Government says it rejects the view expressed by the Foreign Minister of Spain, Josep Borrell, that the United Kingdom has lost a measure of sovereign capacity over Gibraltar because it is no longer free to negotiate a future relationship with the European Union. The Government will today publish a Command Paper on a draft Bill to provide for Gibraltar’s withdrawal from the European Union.

The Gibraltar National Dance Team is all set to participate at the 2018 World Modern & Contemporary, Ballet and Jazz Dance Championships. The event that will be staged at the Hotel Ossa, in Warsaw, Poland, will see over 4000 dancers from 30 countries and 5 continents taking part, in this spectacular event organised by the International Dance Organisation (IDO). The Minister for the Environment John Cortes has met with Liam Santos and Nick Garcia, who were recently involved in an attempt to rescue a striped dolphin near Sandy Bay.
