Why is there so little sympathy or knowledge for our cause and right to self-determination amongst most Europeans who are aware of the Rock’s existence?

The August Bank Holiday Weekend 23rd-26th August 2019) will see the return of the much loved “most sociable yacht rally in the world”. After years of using Marina Smir on Morocco’s Mediterranean coast the large number of boats arriving together (up to 50) and management issues at Marina Smir made that destination unfeasible. Luckily six months ago a brand-new marina was inaugurated in Tangier. Tanja Bay Marina has agreed to host the rally. Read more

Gibraltar’s Hit Music Station - has launched a new fundraising initiative aiming to raise more than £25,000 for local causes in 2019. Rock Radio Action will raise funds through exciting events, shows and challenges with two local based charities being supported throughout the year. Read more

The finalised plans for the new St Martin’s School were approved and signed off on Friday at the Department of Education. The plans, which now include detailed layouts, are for a school that will cater for all the needs of the students, with a range of facilities to include a hydrotherapy pool, large playing area, gym, and extensive therapy areas. The UK secretary of state for trade Dr Liam Fox was in Gibraltar yesterday for talks on Brexit and related matters. He is an old friend of Gibraltar, always ready to defend us.
A Government statement said that the visit centred around preparations for the United Kingdom and Gibraltar’s departure from the European Union and the trading opportunities that will follow. Read more

Twelve Student nurses from the Gibraltar Health Authority’s School of Health Studies (SHS) recently organised and participated in a 24 hour walk in aid of the Gibraltar Cardiac Association. Read more

The Government says in a statement that it is astonished that on the very day when the House of Commons is voting on the Withdrawal Agreement, the GSD's unelected Leader should continue to attempt to divide Gibraltar with his distorted and misinformed views on the subject. Read more
