Dominic Raab has been ousted as Foreign Secretary in a UK Government reshuffle. Raab's demotion to justice minister followed a long meeting with the prime minister on yesterday afternoon. He has however also been appointed Deputy Prime Minister and Lord Chancellor. Read more

The Government considers that the Opposition’s irresponsible reaction to the vaccination against COVID-19 of 12-15 year olds in the United Kingdom and Gibraltar is in the stone age. This is even more so after the move has been sanctioned by the Chief Medical Officers of England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland and when such vaccination has been happening elsewhere for months. The City Hall

Gibraltar’s City Hall at the foot of John Mackintosh Square is a building you may walk past every day on your way to work, to run errands or meet friends. However, what you may not know is that the building has a lot of rich history, as it was built way back in the 1800’s. The former City Hall is now the office of the Mayor of Gibraltar. Read more

The event, hosted by leading industry title ‘Travel Weekly’, discussed topics such as sustainable growth for the future and facing a new reality after COVID. Read more

Today marks the start of Lincoln Red Imps Europa Conference League Group Stage Journey and they will be facing Greek team POAK at the Victoria Stadium at 6:45pm. Economise on travel, GSD tells CM
Given the current state of public finances it is important to find economies where possible. The GSD has written to the Chief Minister in his capacity as Minister for Finance to review travel policies asking that Ministerial and Parliamentary travel on short-haul flights be undertaken on an economy basis. The Nazis and their Spanish allies initially seemed to have had the advantage in the secret war for Gibraltar. However, the British were able to use the "Double Cross" technique - that of identifying enemy agents and "turning" them into double agents for the British authorities - just as effectively in Gibraltar as they did in Britain.
