An application to regenerate an industrial/commercial site into a mixed-use development in Devil’s Tower Road is to be discussed at the next Development and Planning Commission meeting on February 23rd.
The site located at 45-55 Devil’s Tower Road was considered by the DPC in July last year, however was deferred and given various recommendations to be able to continue with the development of the site. Read more

Spain has decided to deepen cooperation on health matters with Andorra at the same time that its cooperation with Gibraltar in this area has been generally turned down. It is worth noting that Andorra, like Gibraltar, is not part of the European Union. Read more

Morrisons UK have confirmed to PANORAMA that they have flown out to Gibraltar two salaried employees for specific purposes. One of which is a trained butcher, as all of the butchers are currently on strike. They added that as both are salaried employees, there is no comparison to an hourly paid employee. Read more

The rinse-and-repeat cycle at the Gibraltar Parliament is as dull as an empty washing machine spinning endlessly without cause. It is heated but extremely dry and does little good for the clothes it means to serve. Read more

The funds that have poured into the Spanish exchequer from Gibraltar have multiplied by millions and millions of euros in recent times, according to Spain’s economic Ministry Hacienda. This is reflected in figures published by El Economista which show that tax takings in respect of Gibraltar have nearly doubled over the last two years. Read more
