It's one Bill after another, the Government yesterday published a Bill for an Act that will ensure that private sector workers are entitled to have a choice, by law, on whether they wish to make a contribution to a pension plan.
The Bill provides that, should an employee choose to participate in a pension plan, the law will require the employer to contribute towards that employee’s pension plan. Read more

It’s easy to knock GBC, not simply because of its content, but increasingly its cost, but while it may cost a lot per capita, or per household, there is still a need for local news and current affairs programming, on TV as well as radio. A town of 35 000 people in the UK or Spain can manage without them, but a self-governing territory like Gibraltar cannot. Read more

At the moment there is much political blindness out there and not all for the right reasons, which is disturbing. In fact, I had a taste of it last week when I penned the report about Spanish workers had taken over directing local traffic, this upset two senior party members of one party. Read more
