Our editor Joe Garcia has long been campaigning in the pages of PANORAMA for Gibraltar to have a Naval and Military Museum and such an idea is now taken up by the GSLP/Liberals in their election manifesto.
They say that, if returned to government, they will establish a museum to commemorate Gibraltar's long and historic connections with the armed forces of the United Kingdom. Read more

Following a post-mortem, HM Coroner has authorised the release of the body concerning last week's incident at sea, to the family and arrangements are being made for its repatriation to Spain. Read more

The Cross Frontier Group met up with the Liberal Party yesterday morning with the intention of speaking with all four political parties in Gibraltar to get information about Brexit and the border.
The Group called a meeting months back, way before the announcement of the general election, to discuss the concerning factors of Brexit for business and employees in the local area, the problems that would arise as a result of a hard Brexit and to get an analysis of how the politics in the UK was going and how that would affect the Gibraltar economy and the economy in the Campo area. The GSLP Liberals held their public meeting Tuesday evening at the John Macintosh Theatre where they announced their plans for the future if they are to again get elected into Government as a result of this upcoming general election.
The meeting gave the caretaker Ministers the opportunity to speak their views, talk about what they have done in the last 8 years and also express their appreciation for former Liberal Minister of Health, Care & Justice, Neil Costa, to be replaced by Vijay Daryanani. Read more
