This weekend 6 girls from the Gibraltar Rhythmic Gymnastics will travel to Birmingham UK to test in the British Qualification testing.
The Espoir squad (Lili Murphy, Nyah Galia, Lauren Garcia, Thea Cawthorn, Chanel Trinidad) are testing to see if they can fight for one of the 5 exclusive spots and be selected in the British Squad for group and hopefully follow in the footsteps of Olympian Georgina Cassar and Commonwealth Gymnast and BG group member Nicola Bosio. Trevor Hammond has deliberately tried to twist the Government’s press release on emissions, as he has no answer to the points made, says Government. Contrary to Mr Hammond’s own comments, which are anything but constructive in spirit, the Minister for the Environment has on many occasions commented that more needs to be done and is actively engaged in dialogue with NGOs and industry and in action to improve air quality further.
