The Gibraltar Health Authority says it would like 'to correct the statement issued by Unite with reference to the Nursing Assistant vacancies.'
They add: Vacancies for Nursing Assistant posts within the GHA and ERS have been advertised internally and externally. Therefore, the GHA has not deprived anyone from being able to apply for these vacancies. Read more

There was a crash yesterday morning between a motorcar and motorcycle. Emergency services were in attendance and Rosia road was closed, affecting traffic travelling from town and going towards town, which had to divert round the Rock or down Europa Road. Read more

The Spanish government has decided to turn the screws on Gibraltar, and already a toughening of its position has become evident.
The revenge comes after 33 years, they say in Spain, as the Spanish had to cede much about Gibraltar in its application to join Europe. There was a country that turned the screws on Spain then, that was the UK. Now, Spain prepares its revenge. Read more
