It is clear to the Government that certain sectors of the Partido Popular continue with an unhealthy obsession with Gibraltar, an approach based on generating hatred through misinformation. Coming straight after another jammed packed Gibraltar day in London events the Chief Minister looked primed and ready to face any questions the Lords EU Select Committee could ask him when he appeared in front of the committee to give evidence on the main issues involved in the arduous year long Brexit negotiations. In an address in the European Parliament in Strasbourg, the Deputy Chief Minister Dr Joseph Garcia has said that Gibraltar may possibly want a deeper relationship with the European Union in the future. This came in answer to questions from the Brexit working group of Green/EFA MEPs whom he met at their invitation. Read more
