Government Offer to Transfer Motor Insurance Liabilities to Channel Islands Rejected

The Government’s offer for all liabilities over motor insurance to be transferred to the Channel Island states of Jersey and Guernsey has been simultaneously turned down.


Last year insurance companies that are based in Gibraltar stopped providing motor insurance coverage across the Channel Islands due to the risk of the ever rising liabilities.
