Gibraltar aquarium to become new tourist attraction

The news that an aquarium may be established in Gibraltar is very good for the economy and for the tourist product as a whole. This is exactly the kind of new attraction that Gibraltar needed, and it makes perfect sense to convert another old building to a new and modern use.

GAZETTE
A recent notice in the official “Gibraltar Gazette” alerted the public to a proposed development at the Victualling Yard next to Rosia Bay. The project was described as being the creation of a “public Aquarium on the first floor of the Storehouse” and the addition “of a second floor to house the support, research and educational facilities.”
