Gibraltar’s Walking Football Team Shines at Eurocopa

Gibraltar’s walking footballers recently celebrated a third place finish at the EuroCopa tournament held in the Algarve, and it’s a measure of just how far the sport has progressed with the potential of more development to come. 


The team played in the over 60s tournament where 19 teams were split into three groups, one of seven teams and two groups of six teams.
There was also an over 50s competition, and overall the Algarve welcomed 40 teams spanning from nine different countries.
