Could you complete ten thousand steps a day?

According to the NHS, the average person in the UK walks between 3,000 and 4,000 steps a day. Despite this being the average, they recommend ten thousand steps each day for “optimum health”, though for many different reasons, most people do not reach this amount.


When you are younger, you tend to do more steps in a day due to walking around school, doing more activities or having fun outside with friends.
