Northern Ireland deal possible as Spain remodels border

In the meantime, the Spanish side have been preparing the border for a possible no treaty scenario.

A battery of automatic, passport reading e-gates to enter and leave Spain have been in place for some years now. A few weeks ago the vehicular entry point was remodeled also.
