Two years since Gibraltar’s Covid vaccination programme began

In January 2021, Gibraltar’s COVID-19 vaccination programme launched, which allowed us as a community to see some sort of light at the end of the tunnel, as the Rock became one of the fastest countries to vaccinate its population.


On 10th January 2021, doses of the vaccines were removed from storage freezers at around 4:30am before being delivered to the vaccination centre at St Bernard’s Hospital and Hillsides ERS home.
