Christmas during a cost of living crisis

As we approach the festive season, many Gibraltarians dream about delicious dinners with all the trimmings and a selection of wonderful gifts from loved ones. 

Yet, for some families living on the edge of a cost-of-living crisis, their Christmas joy will be cut short because of urban poverty. This pain remains hidden from sight within the dark corners of small rooms plagued by persistent dampness with a single flickering light bulb.
