DCM meets delegation from American Battle Monuments Commission

The US War Memorial in Line Wall Road, which was discussed during the visit, comes under the remit of the Commission. The Memorial was built in 1933 to mark the close cooperation between the US Navy and the Royal Navy at Gibraltar during the First World War. It was formally inaugurated in 1937.
