Defence Guards taking selective industrial action

Staff at the Defence Guard Posts around the Rock are taking selective industrial action this week as they are concerned about the OMEC, a new type of contract the MOD are looking to implement within their guard service both in Gibraltar and the UK.


OMEC has been a concern over the summer months in Gibraltar, as it has been in the process of implementation and that is what has led to the selective industrial action from the staff.
