Immigrants cross to the Rock

Immigrants keep crossing the Strait in the direction of the Iberian Peninsula, with some of them racing for the Rock. Yesterday, eleven of them were arrested here.


It was at about 10.25 yesterday morning when police vehicles were seen racing with their sirens blaring.
It was going on? They were acting on information received - and the RGP Marine Section accompanied by GDP and HM Customs, deployed to an area approximately one mile south of Europa Point where they intercepted a 3.5 metre RHIB carrying 8 Moroccan males.
