Going culture-crazy while essential problems are not tackled properly

The letter from Louis Pereira about a major lift problem highlights an issue that can only get worse.


Before addressing the lift problem Gibraltar faces, I must say that it is scandalous that a 95-year old person, his wife at 92 and his sister-in-law 90 should be forced to go up and down to a top floor because the lift is not working and nothing effective is done to find a remedy to this serious human problem.
