Three look-alike drill-ships on the Rock

Three look-alike drill-ships have been coming into Gibraltar waters, arrivals being spaced out by about a week.

First to arrive was the Stena Icemax on 8th April. This was followed on 15th April by Stena Drillmax and then, on 21st April, by Stena Forth.

The three are on the eastside awaiting orders. At present they have no confirmed departure dates.

A spokesman added: “During their stay they are carrying out the standard operations including taking on provisions, crewchanges (under strict GPA / HMGoG protocols in place) etc.”
