Two will not stand for re-election

Two elected members have declared they will not be standing for re-election at the coming general election.

Yesterday there was a personal statement from Lawrence LLamas, saying that he would not be standing with the GSD.

And today, a personal statement of Neil F Costa, Minister for Health, Care and Justice, said:

"It is no secret to many, and to the persons who have asked me directly, that as far back as the 2015 election I had indicated to my very good friends and colleagues the Honourable the Chief Minister and the Honourable the Deputy Chief Minister that I would not put my name forward to the Liberal Party Executive for reselection in 2019."
