UK Government’s BGTW Incursion Policy Reeks of Double Standards
How pathetic, seriously unreliable and an insult to the intelligence of the people in this community to listen to the latest military appraisal by another CBF, the most senior military officer stationed in Gibraltar. Unconvincingly trying to explain what he believes is an illegal incursion. But really doing his best to describe a scenario that best suits who comes nearest to British Gibraltar policy with Spain, that for many years has been a controversial and failed FCO policy, and one:
‘That has disastrously been applied by the MOD in BGTW achieving zero effect on the Spanish Government. A policy that is contrary to Gibraltar’s best interest and an important British diplomatic policy that has always favoured the Spanish claim over the Sovereignty of BGTW’. Whatever crap the FCO had tried to convince us to the contrary!
Royal Navy Bathtub Incursion Evaluation
But once again, another CBF, this time it was the turn of Commander Henry who after a year in post, like other predecessors broke silence, to publicly inform the people of Gibraltar his ‘Royal Navy Bathtub six yellow ducks in a row incursion evaluation’
Henry much like previous CBF’s has no idea what he is talking about and has yet to understand the intricacies of this issue. Not emotionally, as he probably thinks the locals feel about it, but legally. This report would be my forth or fifth on the exact same issue regarding the exact same military CBF role and thinking pattern, so I’m going back a few years and post holders minds!
But Commander Henry like those before him, are MOD selected and FCO programmed and then sent to Gibraltar in clone type fashion. Their role, to try and convince the natives or the people of Gibraltar, that the daily scenarios that we ourselves are witnessing in BGTW of ‘illegal incursions are not direct threats to our sovereignty’ and what we are all seeing is not really happening?
Although I am convinced the FCO really believe there exist threats, but prefer to play diplomatic suicide with Gibraltar’s sovereignty at the expense of not upsetting Madrid!
