GIBRALTAR SHINES IN BRITISH GROUP
For the first time this season they had to compete in both the Freehand and Ball routine, and points were added up to give an overall score.
The Ball routine was smooth and flawless with many ball interchanges that won them 1st place.
It was their first time they performed the freehand routine in an official competition environment. Their new routine attracted the judges and spectators in what it was vibrant, diverse with perfect timing and lovely use of elements that won them 2nd place.
Both points added up to win them an incredible 2nd place overall, this now ranks then 2nd in UK.
These Gymnasts now continue to work hard for the British National Championships that will take place at the end of July in Liverpool.
Coach Sally Holmes says that she is very proud of how much these Gymnasts have improved and how they constantly demonstrate it, by achieving amazing results. Their maturity, discipline and dedication to the sport is exemplary at such a young age of only 10 to 12 years old.
