It's great to be British, judging by the ever increasing numbers who apply for British nationality.
Earlier this month, the Governor, Edward Davis , received the oath of allegiance to Her Majesty the Queen and a pledge of loyalty from 40 new British citizens, and presented them each with certificates of nationality. Various nationalities ranged from Panama to the Philippines, and also included nationals from Bolivia and Australia.
In echoes of His Worship's inauguration address last week, the Governor welcomed 40 new Citizens from a most diverse range of countries.
"A power of combinations that continues to enrich Gibraltar’s inclusive, respectful and generous community," he said.
