From Panama to Gibraltar: New head of Gibtelecom

Noel Burrows, formerly CEO of Digicel Panama, has been named as CEO effective from the 6th May, says Gibtelecom in a Press Release. 

They add that Noel is a seasoned Telecoms Executive. He has over 20 years senior leadership experience in telecoms working with Tesco mobile in UK & Ireland, and O2 in Europe and South America. Noel has experience in growing Telco businesses through market leadership, in brand, customer satisfaction and product innovation.

Commenting on the appointment, Fabian Picardo, Chairman of Gibtelecom, said "Noel brings a wealth of expertise, as well as global wireless experience to Gibtelecom. He has a proven record of performance in highly competitive environments. We look forward to his leadership as Gibtelecom continues to invest and evolve its business to provide the best experience for our customers. I wish to thank Adrian Moreno and his management team for the interim leadership and am confident they will complement and work extremely well with Noel.”
