Bringing balance to Gibraltar's past
A friendly atmosphere surrounded the Mayor’s Parlour, with guests, speakers and the Mayor herself coming together and enjoying the company of one another.
Meanwhile, a special tea was enjoyed by all guests after arrival at 11am and guests were spoilt for choice with a grand selection of sandwiches, cakes, biscuits, coffees, teas and juice, to celebrate the occasion.
There was such an excellent turnout to the event that more chairs were brought in to cater for the great amount of guests received by the venue.
The event included an address by the Mayor Kaiane Aldorino Lopez where she thanked the guests for attending and this was then followed by a short talk by Claire Montado, CEO of the Gibraltar Heritage Trust and a panel discussion which was chaired by Professor DaniellaTilbury, former Vice Chancellor ofthe University of Gibraltar and the first female Gibraltarian to hold the full title of Professor.
