Prize winners in Art Competition for Young Artists
The Deputy Chief Minister, Dr Joseph Garcia, officially opened the Exhibition and presented the awards yesterday evening. Forty-one artists have submitted a total of seventy-nine artworks. 2017 Gibraltar International Art winner, Jaime Velázquez Sánchez from Cadiz, carried out the judging.
The Prize winners are:
• 1st The Ministry of Culture Prize £1000

• The Ministry of Culture Sculpture Award £500
No.45 Nathan Parody “Octopus”

The exhibition will be open to the general public from Wednesday 27th February to Friday 8th March, weekdays from 9am to 9.30pm.
