Unite the Union is convening a meeting for all its shop stewards and activists today 8th January at 3 p.m. at Transport House to discuss the final details of its Day of Action as planned for 16th January at 3:30 p.m. 

All Unite Shop Stewards and Activists are requested to attend.

The misuse of agencies and chronic job insecurity brings about poor conditions. We need adequate training with transferrable qualifications for our youth to prepare them for good quality employment.

"We need to ensure our workers are treated with the respect and dignity they deserve. We need work that pays and training that secures a future for our youth.

With Unite on your side penny pinching bosses will not be allowed to get away with exploiting workers or deny them their rights," said spokesperson.
