Gibraltar welcomes in 2019 with a bang!

Well, lots of bangs really as the Rock was lit up by countless fireworks on New Years eve, and dogs and cats went whimpering under beds or into their owners arms.

Meanwhile, at Casemates Square the crowds braved the cold weather to party the New Year in, with free entertainment courtesy of the Ministry of Culture, and organised by organised by Axle Media. 

The Jeremy Perez Session Band provided the music until midnight, when the Fireworks display took over. The party continued with Life In Stereo and DJ F-Grove.
