PP wants Spanish Gibraltar

In an exuberant mood,and with Spanish flags flying, the 'Partido Popular' leader Pablo Casado said at a crowded meeting in Algeciras that the PP was the only Spanish political party calling for a Spanish Gibraltar. 

Their plan for Gibraltar is one of joint sovereignty - and his great offering was that, after Brexit, Gibraltar could have an EU passport if Spain so decided.

It shows the mentality of some Spanish politicians and also how little they know about Gibraltar.

It is obvious, that in a joint sovereignty situation with Spain, Gibraltar would have less rights that under our present self-governing status with the UK, as they see the Spanish Government ordering the Gibraltarians about.
