Campo Mayors have no trust in Pedro Sanchez Government
Speaking exclusively to Panorama at the weekend, he informed us of growing concerns regarding Brexit in the Campo, but he was also hugely critical of Pedro Sanchez and his government. The individual also highlighted the total mistrust towards the central government that currently prevails amongst top officials in the various campo municipalities.
For obvious reasons that require little explanation, this person did not want to be named, doing so would not jeopardise the position currently held, but potentially and more seriously, the fear of other judicial repercussions for speaking out without authorisation.
The information passed to Panorama, although not extensive or an all-encompassing account, did communicate an important political snapshot of current feelings, political tension and rising Brexit cynicism in the region.
