LATE NEWS: Further statement from the Office of the Governor in relation to Spanish incursion, from Deputy Governor N.J. Pyle:
We are looking into this incident and are concerned about reports, apparently confirmed by the Spanish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, that the Spanish vessel instructed boats in British Gibraltar Territorial Waters to leave. Our Ambassador has raised these concerns with the Spanish Government. Read more

British MEP Dr Julia Reid has condemned antagonistic actions of Spanish warship after the latest incident.
Royal Navy ships were deployed in response to an incident on Sunday where a Spanish warship, with its guns manned, ordered commercial ships to leave Gibraltarian waters, the British Territory's Government said. Read more

As soon as the Governor received his instructions from London 24 hours after Sunday’s incursion incident he confirmed what he had been instructed to inform the natives in Gibraltar that the totally blatant incursion on the east side area of the Rock in BGTW during the early part of Sunday evening by a Spanish state military vessel the warship Tornado P44 was not an incursion at all, but a collective mirage by the whole of Gibraltar except by the Governor and those diplomatic and political morons in London who are heading the UK’s pathetic Brexit negotiation efforts.
