Brexit should not affect the frontier in a negative sense, unless there are those who might wish to ignore the democratic reality of the situation.
It must not be forgotten that when Gibraltar joined what was then the European Economic Community, which is now the EU, it was at our own request that we were excluded from a number of regulations, largely affecting the frontier. Read more

On 15 September 1940 the Luftwaffe embarked on their largest bombing attack of Britain thus far in WWII. This forced the Royal Air Force to launch every available fighter aircraft in defence of London and the South East of England. The result was a decisive victory that proved to be a turning point in favour of the Royal Air Force in, what was to become known as, the Battle of Britain. For this reason 15 September is recognised by the Royal Air Force as Battle of Britain Day. Read more

Government will be providing facilities at the Extension Jetty for vessels berthed alongside to be able to connect to shore power (known as ‘cold ironing’). In this way they will be able to switch off their engines and so reduce the amount of emissions that they produce while alongside. Read more

Clubhouse Gibraltar is happy to announce that two Clubhouse Staff members, Kevin Fowler and Darryl Britto, have been assessed by Mental Health First Aid England and are now approved trainers for the Youth Course in addition to the Mental Health First Aid Adult Courses. The Mental Health First Aid Youth courses were first delivered in Gibraltar in February and April 2019 and positive feedback was received from all those who attended. Read more
