Just over 40% of respondents to an opinion poll in Spain have replied that in their view Gibraltar is not Spanish. The online poll of 1104 participants was carried out by Electomania (electomania.es) between the 22nd and 27th of last month.

Nuclear submarines surface to send a message. This could be directed to an adversary like Russia or China, or sometimes it could be to send a more subtle message to an ally nearby. This is all the more so with the fleet of SSBNs, submarines capable of carrying nuclear warheads and of firing these weapons from unknown locations under the sea. This week, local media outlets were invited to speak to Major John Pitto, Royal Gibraltar Regiment’s Second in Command and Corporal Arnold Rogers about the Royal Gibraltar Regiment’s recruitment process and their increase in social media presence.
The RG is an infantry battalion, thus they are mandated to be at 214 regulars and 100 reservists. Read more
