I read recently the headlines, “No escape from travel chaos”. Apparently, the UN World Tourism Organization estimates that the global number of those who travel will be this year at 95% of pre-pandemic levels in 2023. 

They call it a “revenge tourism.” however; it appears that because the airline industry has not quite got their act together, operations are buckling under the pressure.
