SPAIN “STOPS” RED ARROW DISPLAY IN GIBRALTAR
It is a shame that the UK has given in to pressure from Madrid on such a symbolic exhibition of our Britishness.

It was the online media “The Diplomat” who picked up the story that the red arrows were scheduled to perform at an air display in Menorca, followed by another at Gibraltar during this time. The plan was that yesterday they would have entertained the crowds in the skies above Menorca and today they would have made their way to the Rock for a performance here on Thursday 28th. It was quite surprising that the MoD did not make any formal announcement and not good form that the public have been kept in the dark throughout.
