What is a classic, is that of their performance as a country, and as a democracy, which they claim to be. `Business insider España` in July this year, asked the Economists, which were the challenges which awaited the future Spanish government to be, after the elections. The response was that the obstacles going back a few months were getting heavier and heavier, and on to these was the addition of the same old problems or troubles.
To find a balance between reducing their debt without austerity, to comply with their Brussels’s duties, to tackle the drama of housing, and the never ending unemployment, were just a few examples. As far as education was concerned, a couple of years back, the New York Times wrote that in Spain its nightlife was more important than Schools, and that it needed an education revolution to tackle what they seemed to consider least urgent i.e. the education of millions of students. Whilst El Pais wrote that its new education law was hampered by the lack of consensus.
