Kate Llufrio: Baby STEPPs

This week, from the 9th– 15th October 2022 is Baby Loss Awareness Week.


As part of our Woman of the Week column, PANORAMA spoke with founder of Baby STEPPs, Kate Llufrio, who created the local charity to facilitate peer support networks as well as provide practical help and information where appropriate.
Outside of running the charity, Kate is an Educational Psychologist working with the Department of Education.
REASON
Ms Llufrio explained that the reason she founded Baby STEPPs was as she unfortunately had pregnancy complications and had a miscarriage and lost her son, Jonathan, at 19 weeks.
