WOMAN OF THE WEEK Holly O’Shea Team Gibraltar weightlifter

This week’s Woman of the Week is 25-year-old weightlifter, Holly O’Shea. Born in Gibraltar, she currently resides in Loughborough and is due to compete in this year’s Commonwealth Games in her chosen sport.

PANORAMA spoke with Holly to discuss how she is preparing for the games, what her goals for the future are and more.

Holly explained that she was born in Gibraltar, but has moved around a lot in her life. Her parents moved back to the Rock around three years ago, thus, this is the main place she calls home.

Currently, she is based in Loughborough in the United Kingdom and works in Human Resources.
