Earlier this month, PANORAMA reported that locals and tourists alike were left confused after flights from Gibraltar to Edinburgh, and vice versa had been removed from the easyJet website, with easyJet confirming to PANORAMA that the route will not be operating in July and August.

The flights were previously for sale on the website, however on the 1st April were no longer able to be booked. A message on the website displayed ‘no flights between 25th Jun & 6th Sep’.

The route became operational in June 2021 and was the first direct connection between Gibraltar and Scotland.
