Final meeting of year for Development and Planning Commission

Features of the Eastside project amongst other matters were discussed at the last Development and Planning Commission meeting of 2021.


The Town Planner’s Draft Scoping Opinion in respect of an Environmental Impact Assessment for both the Coastal Protection Works and Waterside development at Eastside were two of the main developments spoken about.
PROPOSED COASTAL PROTECTION WORKS SCOPING OPINION
The Coastal Protection Works site has a current revetment that was only designed for a 1:1 year storm so needs to be upgraded for future development. The site was allocated for mixed use development.
