Despite the large spike in cases over the last few weeks, people of Gibraltar have continued to wear their masks inside retail shops/supermarkets, Medical/Health services, public transport, funerals and the airport since the mask wearing was imposed even if there was little to no cases.
In the UK, the legal requirements for wearing face masks indoors were removed in July of this year, even though they still have a large number of positive Covid cases daily. Will Gibraltar follow suit and take away the need to wear masks inside indoor public spaces if the cases drop, and if so, when will this be? Or is it reviewed on a regular basis?
