Onto the exhibition..
With three rooms filled with his works as well as memorabilia, it is safe to say that it was time to honour Elio and his legacy is one we should never forget.
The exhibition is three years in the making and has been nicely put together and it was Gibraltar Cultural Services' CEO Seamus Byrne after he was given the opportunity to visit Elio in his London home alongside Cecil Gomez and Humbert Hernandez. It was during that trip that over 90 of Elio's works of art were brought to Gibraltar and now form part of the Government's art collection.
"We have been working very hard for a year now. On both the exhibition and a book that has been worked on by Alice Mascarenhas." said GCS CEO Seamus Byrne. *Book will be available at the exhibition, priced at £20.
