Talking about traffic. Last week I raised a couple of important issues, one of them regarding the local traffic problem ‘including the serious traffic pollution issue’.
A report, that was stupidly and naïvely received and also criticised by certain political party activists who are probably already ‘in blind pre-election batten down the hatches mode’. Critically, these twisted views are nothing Panorama cannot handle. Because of all the media sources in Gibraltar, this newspaper is well aware that the ‘Truth Hurts’ our no nonsense, upfront and frank news-reporting style may have something to do with it. But this is not going to change because of an impending election or to appease some simple politically programmed party members!
So let’s talk about the Climate and its biggest polluter... traffic:
Climate Emergency an ‘Unrealistic Political Headline’
There was a happy proud mood about Parliament last week when the Government and all Opposition members were able to agree on something, Yes, it’s true, they agreed on something’ although not on anything that will have any immediate effect on our lives like Brexit, and the many other countless political issues that has divided politicians and Gibraltar for a good number of years and still does, no it was nothing like that!
Parliament is today united on issues of the ‘Future’ and not on those serious others that affects Gibraltar today. There is a totally valid point there to question about ‘Unity’ in the context of Political Priorities?
