Rock's rhythmics put on good show

The Gibraltar Rhythmic Gymnasts competed in La Linea in their groups competition, with more clubs coming from further afield to make this a very competitive and high standard competition.

GB squad Espoir Group did not compete but opened the competition with their routine as practice for this weekend’s qualification. 

Our 2nd Espoir group competed in the Alevin Pre-Copa Section (Jasmine Vaughan, Isabelle Hillman, Sienna Zarb, Faith Guilliano and Alyse Lombard – Leira) did an amazing routine at such a high standard and won Silver. Next weekend these girls will also be traveling to Stoke-On-Trent to the qualification round aiming to make it to top 6 for British Championships.

The Pre Benjamin Group (Sadie Gavizio, Amelie Lombard-Leiria, Cecilia Alarcon-Bravo, Suhaila Romero Pincho, Tiffany Byrne, Ella and Navarro Walsh) performed a very sweet routine, and just missed placing on the podium.

The Benjamin Group (Celine Desoisa, Maryam Jalarbi, Sophia Wilkinson, Daniela Dean, Aniela Prudziencia, Maddie Roberts) enjoyed performing to a modern mix of music but they did not medal.

The Alevin C Group (Beatriz Sheppard Capurro, Neve Crossley, Noemi Olah, Jade Oliveria, Nora El Ouazani ) also performed beautifully to a classy music theme but unfortunately did not place this time .
