Public and Media Relations with MOD Gibraltar have seriously fallen-off and are in decline an evaluation not made by Panorama alone but by a number of other people who are of the opinion the MOD in Gibraltar appear withdrawn with their PR relations and appear a shadow of their former self.

But with growing fears with Brexit and the increase in illegal Spanish incursions and usual efforts by the Royal Navy in situ combined with FCO attempts in the background has achieved very little. Particularly with present Royal Navy assets just not up to the task and FCO diplomatic engagements with the Spanish Governments hopelessly achieving nothing as it continues with its futile Gibraltar diplomatic policy!

The present situation as outlined has not suddenly presented itself; there are a variety of reasons for both.
