Notre Dame enjoy Valentine’s Tea Event

A Valentine’s Tea Event was held at Notre Dame First School yesterday, as part of the school’s initiative to involve the local community. A great atmosphere filled the packed hall as staff, students and guests enjoyed the Valentine’s food and activities. 

Stalls were manned by Notre Dame teachers and large selection of drinks and homemade snacks were on sale, including sandwiches, cakes and cookies.

Other activities included a ‘Guess the Number’ stall for 50p to win a chocolate cake, an ‘All You Need is Love’ board for taking Valentine’s photographs and a ‘Say I Love You with a Rose’ stall where roses were available for £1. During the event, Notre Dame pupils collectively took to the stage to sing some Valentine’s Day songs that they had learnt during their music lessons with the help of Mrs Ward, their music teacher.
